    Xiaomi Redmi 6A With 18:9 Display, Face Unlock Launched

    Redmi 6A which was launched at an event in Xiaomi’s product in Beijing. It comes withsome of the new amazing features which includes an 18:9 display and the latest Helio A22 chipset. However, there are the same AI-driven Face Unlock capabilities on the Redmi 6A, which includes the Xiao Ai digital assistant.

    Redmi 6A price, availability

    Redmi 6A price in China has been set at CNY 599 which is roughly Rs. 6,300 in Indian currency for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage variant. The smartphone has been made available in the market from 15th of June.

    Operating System and Display

    The dual-SIM (Nano) Redmi 6A runs MIUI 9 on top of Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It bears a 5.45-inch display with High Definition+ (720×1440 pixels), with an 18:9 aspect ratio and pixel density of 295ppi.

    Processor

    It is powered and supported by a quad-core 12nm MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, which is coupled with 2GB of RAM.

    Camera department

    The Redmi 6A gets a single 13-megapixel rear sensor with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, which also has two sensors on the back. The front of the smartphone gets a 5-megapixel camera sensor with a Portrait mode, for selfies and video calling.

    Storage

    The smartphone has a 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be, expandable further via microSD card (up to 256GB) with its own dedicated card slot.

    Battery

    The phone also comes with a battery capacity of 3000mAh which is removable one  under the hood.

    Final Verdict

    The smartphone is good with amazing features and with respect to camera. The overall rating is 4 out of 5.
