Delta Airlines and Spotify have announced a partnership to begin providing popular music playlists and podcasts free to all passengers.
The new announcement brings popular music playlists and 42 Spotify podcasts to the in-flight experience. The audio is licensed directly by Delta.
Music playlists announced include Mood Booster, Are & Be, Hot Country, mint, Today’s Top Hits, Relax & Unwind, RapCaviar, and Ultimate Indie, with Rock This, Roots Rising, and Viva Latino.
It appears only select episodes of Podcasts will be available. According to the announcement, parts of Crime Junkie, Science Vs, StartUp, The Dave Chang Show, The Hottest Take, The Journal, and more will be available.
The original partnership announced in October 2019 only included select podcast playlists. At the time, there were more than 20 million “flight-related” podcast playlists available.
