In the year 2018, Samsung revealed its Samsung Galaxy J2 Core Android Go Smartphone. Now the company has revealed the new iteration of the phone in India. Dubbed by the name as Galaxy J2 Core 2020 Android Go Edition, the smartphone comes with a price tag of INR 6299, and it will be available in three color options Gold, Black, and Blue. The phone will be available on the Samsung India eStore.

Samsung Galaxy J2 Core 2020 Android Go Edition is fitted with a 5.0-inch QHD display along with a pixel resolution of 960 x 540 and has an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The smartphone is driven by a 1.4GHz Quad-Core Exynos 7570 chipset coupled with the Mali T720 MP1 GPU. It is paired with the RAM of 1GB and 16GB of internal storage. It also supports around 256GB of MicroSD card.
The pone features a single 8MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and an LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP sensor with an aperture of /2.2.

It runs on the Android Oreo (Go Edition) and packs with a 2600mAh removable battery. Some of the connectivity options include the 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth version 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Dual-SIM support. The smartphone measurements are 143.4 x 72.1 x 8.9mm with respect to height x width x thickness and weigh around 154 grams.
On the connectivity front, it supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, LTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM, and micro USB port. There is also a fingerprint scanner placed at the back. As for the dimensions, it measures at 154.8 x 73.64 x 7.95 mm. The company is also planning to launch a new series with the Z that will soon be revealed into the market.
