Samsung is now working on a next-gen foldable smartphone, dubbed by the name as Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, and it has been confirmed by several leaks for a while now. Today, a new report has also revealed that the pricing, launch date, and the camera specifications of the upcoming Galaxy Fold 2.
According to the report of the CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants, Ross Young, The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, will be revealed in the month of August alongside the Galaxy Note 20 series. Moreover, he stated that the smartphone would feature a triple rear camera that will comprise of 64MP primary sensor, a 12MP secondary second coupled with the 16MP sensor. Moreover, the device is confirmed to come equipped with dual optical image stabilization.
As per the Ross Young, the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will going to be much cheaper than the Samsung first-generation foldable phone, Galaxy Fold. He also revealed that the Galaxy Fold 2 would be launched with a price tag of INR 144000. The phone is already being confirmed to arrive with a large display for the front, better cameras, 5G support, and S-Pen.
Previously, he also seen to be revealed that the Galaxy Fold2 would pack with a 7.59-inch LTPO OLED display with a screen resolution of 1689 x 2213 and a 372DPI and a 120Hz refresh rate. There will also be a 6.23-inch LTPS OLED front display with a screen resolution of 2267 x 819 pixels along with a refresh rate of 60Hz.
Going by the previous reports, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 will launch in Martian Green and Astro Blue color options. Moroever, the company is soon also going to reveal some new smartphones into the market by the end of May.
