Redmi Note 9 has received the mandatory BIS certification, which even hints that the smartphone might be launching in the country soon. It is mandatory for each and every smartphone to receive a BIS clearance before going for the sale in India. The BIS certification revealed that the Redmi Note 9 carries model number M2003J15SI.
The Redmi Note 9 is tipped to launch in China as the Redmi 10X with the model number M2002J15SC. Recently, the device has spotted on the TENAA certification site, and it also revealed some of the key specifications.
According to the listing of the TENAA, Redmi Note 9 will come equipped with a 6.53-inch full HD+ display with a pixel resolution of 1080 x 2340. Under the hood, it will pack with a 2GHz MediaTek Helio G85 Octa-Core processor. It is even tipped to arrive in the 3 RAM + storage configurations: 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. As per the listing, the storage of the phone is further expandable to around 512GB via the MicroSD card slot.

The smartphone even packs with a 4920mAh capacity with support for the 18W fast charging. On the software part, it runs on the latest Android 10 OS with the MIUI 11 Skin.
In the photography department, the smartphone will come with a square-shaped quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary lens, with PDAF, 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the phone will feature a 13MP selfie shooter. There will be a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. At last, the smartphone will measure 162.3 x 77.2 x 8.9mm, and it weighs 198 grams. As of now there is no response of the company on the launching of phone into the market.
