Xiaomi has now revealed the Redmi 8A Pro in Indonesia. The smartphone is said to be a rebranded version of the Redmi 8A Dual launched in India earlier this year.
Redmi 8A Pro 2GB RAM model is priced at the cost of INR 7100 while; on the other hand, the 3GB RAM model is priced at the cost of INR 7600. The phone comes in the three color options of Sky White, Midnight Grey, and Sea Blue.
The smartphone sports a 6.22-inch screen with an aspect ratio of 19:9, the pixel density of 270ppi, and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. It has a dual-camera setup with a combination of 13MP with an aperture of f/2.2 and a 2MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.4 and a 1.75micron pixel size. For the front, there is an 8MP selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.0 housed in a waterdrop style notch.
The smartphone is supported by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor paired with the RAM of 3GB and 32GB of internal storage. The memory can be further expanded further via the MicroSD card of 512GB slot.
Redmi 8A Pro has a 5000mAh battery with support for the fast charging 18W and USB Type-C port along with the reverse charging technology. The smartphone is a 156.48×75.41×9.4mm in size and weighs around 188 grams.
Xiaomi has not even mentioned the Android version in the Redmi 8A Pro, but since it is a rebranded version of the Redmi 8A Dual that runs on Android 9 with the MIUI 11 on the top, it is likely that Redmi 8A will also runs on the Android 9.
For connectivity, it has Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, VoLTE, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS/A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port.
