Managing software support for most smartphones over two years is a difficult decision due to a slew of problems that must be addressed in order for the extra upgrade to be effective.
Oppo To Give 3 Years Of Promised Software Updates For Its Find X3 Series
Oppo, a fast-growing Chinese smartphone company, is claiming that its Find X3 series of premium smartphones will have at least three years of app support.
In the industry, handset vendors are gradually providing expanded support for their devices, and Oppo will not be left behind.
General product fixes are available for two years, but Oppo claims that the Find X3 versions will get an extra year of security patch assistance.
According to news from Android Planet, the Chinese corporation plans to expand technical support for the Find X3 series to four years in the future.
Oppo, on the other hand, says that research is already underway to determine whether four-year expanded software support for the sequence is feasible.
The Oppo Find X3 set, according to the announcement, will be capable of receiving up to three Android device updates, despite Oppo’s existing policy of two updates.
Since the high-end Oppo FindX3 series was released with Android 11, it will receive Android 12 and Android 13 updates as soon as they become available.
There are also significant variations between vendors in terms of the amount of device upgrades required for their devices.
Oppo’s new flagship product, the Find X3 Pro, is well-equipped to deal with other high-end offerings from industry leaders.
The flagship, which costs about $1,400, was launched alongside the Find X3 Neo and X3 Lite. Oppo aims to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra, Xiaomi’s Mi 11 Pro, and OnePlus’s 9 Pro in its flagship model.
The Find X3 Pro has a great architecture, strong hardware, and a great camera setup, among other things.
It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888 chipset, which includes 5G support. The X3 Pro’s 4500mAh battery supports 65W super-fast charging as well as wireless charging.
