OnePlus is releasing a new update to address a critical issue with the OnePlus 9R, the cheapest phone in the company’s new number series. The update’s release date was published yesterday on the official forums.
OnePlus 9R’s New Update Addresses The Battery Drain Issue
The update is available as OxygenOS 11.2.3.3 for the smartphone, and according to the changelog, it addresses a power consumption issue that has plagued the smartphone. The following is the changelog:

The update is only 106MB in size. OnePlus, on the other hand, claims it will be released in phases. Once it has been established that there are no serious issues, it will be sent to a small number of users before being made available to the general public.

The OnePlus 9R is a smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 870 that features a 6.55-inch Fluid AMOLED 120Hz screen. The 5G smartphone is equipped with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage.
It includes a 48MP primary camera on the back, a 16MP ultrawide angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP monochrome camera. A 16MP sensor is housed in a punch hole in the screen.
Inside the 8.4mm thick chassis, OnePlus has included a fingerprint scanner underneath the display, dual speakers, and a 4500mAh battery. The gadget supports 65W fast charging and comes pre-installed with Android 11.
