Honor has already announced that its latest smartphone, the Honor Play 5, will be released in China on May 18th. The firm has been teasing the phone’s functionality ahead of its official launch.
Honor Play 5 – Specification, Features And Launch Date
On May 18, the Honor Play 5 will be unveiled at 7:30 p.m. (local time). The computer has a tall aspect ratio panel with a waterdrop notch, as seen in the official poster. A SIM card slot is located on the phone’s left side, while a volume controller and power key are located on the phone’s right spine. The lack of a fingerprint scanner on the hand means that it may have an in-display fingerprint reader.
The company has reported that the smartphone will have a quad-camera system with a 64-megapixel main sensor in the new teaser. However, the firm has not given any additional information.
In terms of style, a previous teaser image of the phone showed that it would feature a water-drop notch. The device’s back has two distinct finishes: Gradient and Laser, giving it a vivid and chic appearance. The device’s thickness is reported to be 7.46mm, according to the company.
According to rumors, the Honor Play5 will have a 6.53-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ screen resolution, but the refresh rate is unclear. It is also planned to have a fingerprint sensor built into the touchscreen.
