Apple introduced its latest Apple Pay promotion on Thursday, offering new and existing users of delivery service Instacart substantial savings on their next order.
Announced in an email to Apple Pay users, the offer nets new Instacart customers $30 off their first order of $50 or more when using the promo code “APPLEPAY30” at checkout in the Instacart app or on the web.
Existing Instacart customers can nab $5 off their next order of $35 or more using the code “APPLEPAY5” when ordering through the company’s app or website.
The promotion runs through Sept. 8 and is limited to the U.S. Discounts are applied to the total purchase price and excludes taxes, service fees, special handling fees and other charges. Apple notes that the offer cannot be applied to alcohol products.
Along with the Instacart promo, Apple highlights subscription food services like HelloFresh and Panera Bread, fees for which can be processed using Apple Pay. Chewy, a pet food and supply subscription service, also accepts Apple’s payment system.
Apple routinely partners with retailers, brands, service providers and app makers to boost Apple Pay engagement. Most recently, the company in August partnered with Subway to offer Apple Pay users $2 off any footlong sandwich.
