Motorola Edge+ to launch in India on May 19

Soon after a hint of the launch of Motorola flagship smartphone in India by the Country Head of Motorola India, Prashant Mani. Flipkart, has now teased the launch of Motorola Edge+ smartphone in India on 19th of May.

As per the Flipkart teaser, the smartphone will be launched on the 19th of May 2020 at 12 PM. Furthermore, the listing does not reveal the pricing details and availability of the phone.

Furthermore, the Motorola will only launch the Edge+ in India and not the regular Motorola Edge. The Motorola Edge and Motorola Edge+ were launched in the US back in the month of April.

Motorola Edge+ Specifications

Motorola Edge+ features a curved 6.7inch OLED display with a Full HD+ pixel resolution of 2520 x 1080. The screen has a refresh rate of 90Hz, 21:9 aspect ratios, and an HDR10+ certification. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor on the smartphone.

It is supported by a Snapdragon 865 SoC with Adreno 650 GPU alongside with the 12GB LPPDDR5 RAM, which is coupled with the storage of 256GB UFS3.0 of native storage. The smartphone runs on the Android 10 OS.

It comes equipped with a 5000mAh battery with the 18W wired and 15W wireless fast charging, 5W wireless reverse charging.

In the photography department, the smartphone has a 108MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 0.8-micron pixel size, a 16-megapixel 117-degree ultra-wide-angle camera with f/2.2 aperture and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera that comes with OIS support and provides 3x optical zoom output.

The primary sensor utilizes 4-in-1 pixel binning technology to provide 27-megapixel photos. The rear camera setup is also paired with the Time of Flight (ToF) sensor. For selfies, there is a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and 0.9-micron pixel size for clicking selfies.

Some of the connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm headphone jack.
