Take Advantage of Notes Folders

You can use the folder just like you use it in your Mac. It will help you to properly organize your documents in the proper form. It will be handy for you to categorize the image, doc type documents accordingly.

Add Folders

You can add as many folders you want in your notes application. To do that follow the below steps.

1. Tap New Folder on the bottom right.
2. Give your folder a meaningful name.
3. Tap Save.

On your app, you can also perform the same methods just with minor changes. Make sure you open the notes application and you are on the main folder then perform the following steps.

1. At the bottom of the list, click New Folder.
2. Give your folder a meaningful name.
3. Hit the Enter

Alternatively, on Mac, you can select File > New Folder from the menu bar.

Move Folders

This feature will help you to organize your notes which are basically for the purpose of large projects. You just need to dragon drop the folder on the top of the parent folder. Your notes will be embedded in the parent folder. You can easily nest the folder inside the other.

You want to take out the notes from the parent folder, you can easily drag the folder out of parent folder and that’s it.

Rename Folders

You can easily rename the folder whichever you want. You just need to follow the below steps to rename the folder. Renaming the folder makes it more understandable.

On iPhone or iPad, head to the main Folders screen.

1. Tap Edit from the top right.
2. Select the folder you want to rename.
3. Enter the new folder name.
4. Tap Save.

To rename the notes name on Mac follow the below steps.

• Right-click the folder name and select Rename Folder.
• Hold the Control key, click the folder name, and select Rename Folder.
• Click the folder name twice – slowly, type the new name, hit Enter.
