On the Apple Keynote evening, we all waited. Regardless of whether we use Apple products or not, every premiere next iPhone is a very large industry event. And we met iPhone 8/8 Plus and Jubilee iPhone X. Now, however, I will focus on the first one. It is worth to summarize what is different from the iPhone 8/8 Plus and iPhone 7/7 Plus.
I will not mention all the important information about smartphone but only the key changes, because you can read about both in the live blog, as well as in the entry on the iPhone X and iPhone 8/8+ article. Now I will focus your attention specifically on the comparison – mainly parameters – the older and the new iPhone.
First of all: looks, but rather materials, because the changes are cosmetic
At first glance, it can be said that the appearance of little change occurred – because they actually look alike. But the materials are different from which they were made the news. iPhone 7/7 Plus is aluminum. iPhone 8/8 Plus while moving with the times and has a glass panel on both the front and back – of course, among them is the aluminum frame. I must admit that I like the new iPhone more than the previous generation – eager to hear your opinion on this issue.
Both versions will be available in three colors: silver, black, and gold. Like the sevens, eights are also waterproof.
But most importantly, it’s the settings
On paper, the technical parameters will look very similar – especially in the case of cameras, as well as the fact that in both generations, we have stereo speakers. Apple promises, however, that the camera was much improved – mainly portrait mode in iPhone 8 Plus, stereo speakers should be 25% louder and provide more deep bass than its predecessor.
iPhone 8/8 Plus has also video recording capability of slow-motion in 240 fps and that too at Full HD, Though it is not really comparable to the Sony Xperia XZ Premium (960 fps t for many will it be enough. iPhone 8/8 Plus it’s also augmented reality, but after the Apple conference, it seems that while the company has no idea about how to use the iPhone to AR.
The new iPhone is equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 (previous 4.2), and also – and I want to say: finally! – wireless charging.
