Huawei Y9s with 6.59-inch FHD+ display, triple rear cameras launched

Huawei has now revealed the launch of its latest flagship Huawei Y9s smartphone in India. It is priced at the cost of INR 19990 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage, and it will be available for sale starting from the 19th of May from Amazon.

Customers can avail the nine months of no-cost EMI, exciting exchange offers of INR 1500, and INR 1000 Amazon Pay Cash Back on the Huawei Y9s. The smartphone is available in two color options of Breathing Crystal and Midnight black.

Huawei Y9s specifications

Huawei Y9s features a 6.59-inch FHD+ Ultra FullView display with a pixel resolution of 2340 x 1080, 391PPI and a screen to body ratio of 91%. Under the hood, the phone is supported by an Octa-Core Kirin 710F SoC paired with the RAM of 6GB and 128GB of storage, which can be extended further to around 512GB via a MicroSD card slot.

In the photography department, the smartphone is equipped with a triple rear camera setup on its back panel comprising a 48MP main camera with an aperture of f/1.8 along with an 8MP Ultra wide-angle camera with an aperture of f/2.4, and a 2MP tertiary camera with an aperture of f/2.4.

Huawei Y9s

On the front, there is a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie camera with an aperture of f/2.2. The night mode features allow users to capture low light shots of the night time.

The Huawei Y9s runs on the EMUI 9.1 out of the box based on the Android 9 Pie, and it is backed by around 4000mAh battery with support for the 10W charging via a Micro USB Type-C port.

Connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, USB Type-C, 3.5mm jack. The phone measures 163.1×77.2×8.8 and weigh 206 grams.
