Huawei has taken the wraps off the Huawei Y8p smartphone in home country China. As the name suggests, the Huawei H8p is a new smartphone in the Huawei Y series. As of now, there is no word whether the smartphone will launch in India.

Huawei Y8p Price, Availability

The Huawei Y8p has been listed on the global website for the BYN 549 for around INR 17100. It is likely to go sale from the 29th of May. Huawei is offering the smartphone in two color option, which includes the Midnight black and Crystal.

Huawei Y8p Specifications and features

The Huawei Y8p features a 6.3-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. It has a full HD+ display panel with an aspect ratio of 20:9 and waterdrop notch. The smartphone also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. It is supported by a Kirin 710F Octa-Core Processor and comes in one storage model of 6GB RAM + 128GB of storage. The smartphone can support the extended memory of around 512GB via a MicroSD card slot.

Huawei Y8p

For the optics, the Huawei Y8p is equipped with the triple rear camera setup. The main camera is a 48MP shooter paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens. There is also a 2MP depth sensor. For the selfies, the smartphone also has a 16MP pop-up camera.

It runs on the EMUI 10.1 based on the Android 10 OS and packs with a 4000mAh battery capacity with 10W fast charging support. Moreover, the smartphone lacks a Google Play Services but comes preinstalled with Huawei AppGallery and related services.

The device measures 157.4 x 73.2 x 7.75mm and weighs 172.5 grams. In terms of connectivity, it includes dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB-Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack.
