Step 1-Download the necessary firmware file from Apple’s website or ipsw.me, which posts mirrors to the authentic files present on Apple’s servers (never download via third-party servers). Ensure that you have downloaded the correct file for the correct model number.
Step 2- Save the file on Desktop.
Step 3-Turn off the Find my iPhone or iPad feature by going to Settings > Your name > iCloud.
Step 4- Connect to iTunes.
Step 5-If you are using a Mac, hold down the Alt or Option key while clicking the Restore button with your mouse. If you are on Windows, press the Shift key while clicking the Restore button with your mouse.
Step 6- Open IPSW firmware file from the appropriate directory on your computer.

Step 9– Once the installation completes, you can restore a backup on your current version from iTunes.
